here is an idea which is based around the theme of Awards, we have decided to use the visual language of a rosette. this is more appropriate as it bases the theme of awards on Achievement rather than coming across as over confident. the use of a rosette could also create an interesting visual language for the branding.
Below are some ideas for a concept based on 'finishing' this could be represented by the use of a red line through out the designs, which will reference a finishing line. this could be used throughout the page templates. a band can also be used to rap around the cover,which will reference finishing (by the breaking of the band to look in the year book).
this concept references the visual language of a race (sports), therefore it will not be creative and interesting enough to use for the year book.
