FINAL Cards selected

i have finally selected the cards for suits,

this has taken a long time, due to the amount of research i had to look into, however due to this project being considerable in quantity, it is vital that i make sure the concept is strong, this will help me to produce an overall quality product.

i have decided the suits will be:

HEARTS: GREEK GODS AND GODDESSES

DIAMONDS: EGYPTIAN GODS AND GODDESSES

SPADES: ROMAN GODS AND GODDESSES

CLUBS: NORSE GODS AND GODDESSES

How the cards will work as an overall set:

1. KINGS - FATHERS (PARENTS)
2. QUEENS- MOTHER (PARENTS)
3. JACKS- SONS
4. JOKERS-EVIL/VILLAINS/ TRAITORS

I have decided that the aces will not work as a set like the kings, queens... this will create diversity, within the cards. it will also finish each suit off with its own unique card.

the ACES i will use are:

1. HEARTS: GREEK- POSEIDON- this is a the god of sea and a key god in greek mythologies
2. DIAMONDS: EGYPTIAN- ANUBIS- this is a judgment god of the underworld this brings across a large of the myths based on the underworld within Egyptian mythologies.
3. SPADES: ROMAN- BACCHUS- this is the god of wine, this will bring across the culture of the romans
4. CLUBS: NORSE- TYR- this is the god of war, this will bring across the strength of the norse gods,
